How It Works

  • Participants wear a personalized wristband emitting a unique tracking signal
  • When a member goes missing, caregivers call 911 and report the individual’s enrollment in Project Lifesaver
  • Trained search and rescue teams deploy with mobile locator technology to find the missing person quickly
  • Search times have been reduced from hours or days to minutes, with worldwide success and no serious injuries or fatalities reported in 15 years
